Every classroom activity focuses on oral and written comprehension and expression skills, giving students the skill and confidence to communicate in any situation. A typical morning might include a conversation about a movie the student saw last night, a review of yesterday’s lessons and/or homework, introduction of a new verb tense and new vocabulary, grammatical exercises to illustrate and reinforce the lesson, and further conversation to practice the new concepts. Often, instructors will take the lesson out of the classroom so students can practice their language skills in real-life situations and explore more of Antigua.
